Your mobile number is your unique account identifier on Spribe. The same number you registered with – typically your Easypaisa or JazzCash number – is what you use to log in. Your password is never stored in plain text; Spribe stores only a secure hash.
When you tap Login, your credentials are sent to Spribe's servers over an SSL-encrypted connection. This means nobody between your phone and Spribe's servers can read what you send – not on public Wi-Fi, not on mobile data, not anywhere.
Spribe checks whether the device you are logging in from has been used for your account before. If it is a new device, you may receive an SMS verification code as an additional security step. This protects your account even if someone else has your password.

If you receive an SMS saying someone logged in to your Spribe account from an unrecognised device and it was not you – do not panic. Contact support immediately at support@spribe.app with the words "ACCOUNT SECURITY" in the subject line. Your account will be locked within minutes while the issue is investigated.
